CLASS OF 2021

Dominic Chieffalo, SS, Malvern Prep (PA)
5-foot-11, 180-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a heel-raise stride to initiate his swing. Displayed a flat path through the hitting zone with a feel for the barrel and a bat exit velocity of 80 mph. Showcased confidence in his glove hand and solid carry to throws of 74 mph defensively with much more in the tank. Developing physical frame suggests that a move to third base is likely in the future. Ran a 7.35 60-yard dash.

Jack Ginsburg, 1B, Downingtown West HS (PA)
6-foot-2, 180-pound right-handed hitter with a projectable frame starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a leg-hang stride. Displayed an above average feel for the barrel with some present power and a bat exit velocity of 86 mph. Drove the ball consistently to all fields and flashed an ability to create backspin. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash and showcased a soft glove hand and solid footwork around the bag at first base. Showcased accurate 70 mph arm strength across the diamond.

Matthew Rineman, RHP, Delone Catholic HS (PA)
6-foot-1, 180-pounder sat 75-77 from a high 3/4 arm slot with arm-side run to his fastball. Starts delivery with a short, side-rocker step and maintains balance throughout. Two-seam fastball displayed similar run and velocity while changeup was thrown at similar arm speed sitting 61-65. Curveball has slurve shape at 60-62 from a lower 3/4 arm slot. Repeatable mechanics and solid frame project for velocity spikes in coming years.

Colton Roberts, C, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (PA)
5-foot-10, 160-pound starts from a narrow, square stance and initiates his swing with a leg-lift stride. A bit of bat wag in the load phase of his swing leads to issues in being on time to the hitting zone at times. Flashed the ability to backspin the baseball with 78 mph bat exit velocity. Ran a 7.61 60-yard dash and showcased pop times of 2.26-2.35 on throws of 69 mph from the crouch. Displayed quick feet and a clean transition with developing arm strength. Displayed above average blocking abilities and a soft glove hand during bullpen outings.
