Dynasty Games: Top Pitching Performances

The Dynasty Games is an event put on each fall by Pepe Ortega, the South Florida scout for the Chicago White Sox. It’s typically an all-star game for the top seniors in the South Florida area with a few top underclassmen sprinkled in. This year was no different. There was plenty of talent that will hear their name called in next June’s major league draft, as well as plenty of committed guys.
Today, we take a look at the top five senior pitchers at this year's event, three of which are committed to Miami. RHP Anthony Molina (West Broward HS, FL), one of the Hurricanes' recruits, is likely to hear his name called next June. He has a big arm that has been known for quite some time, but now who has a lower arm slot than and can still run his fastball up to the mid 90s. RHP Evan McKendry (North Broward Prep, FL) is also a Miami commit and bumped some 93s as well. RHP Daniel Rivera (Pines Charter School, FL) was touching average velocity with his fastball and flashing above-average secondary stuff. He is the third Miami recruit we're highlighting. RHP Chris Rodriguez (Monsignor Pace HS, FL), a Jacksonville recruit, may have flashed some of the best stuff of the night, but with the effort in his delivery and body size, he may not have as much upside as the others. RHP Colten Rendon (Dwyer HS, FL) is a Winthrop recruit, who ran his fastball up to 91 mph and may have more in the tank.
