FRESNO, CALIF. - As an open event, this was conducted as a straight traditional showcase, 60 yard run, BP round (with Blast Motion sensors and TrackMan utilized for gathering of various data and metrics), defensive workouts, and pitchers ending the day on the mound throwing 15-20 pitch sessions, with TrackMan recording all the various data and metric points.

Isaiah Barrett, St. Mary's (Stockton, CA), 2022
Positional Profile: OF/2B/P
Physical: 5-9, 165-pounds; Muscular, proportional build. 7.51 runner in the 60.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup working primarily from the stretch. Belt high leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly closed. Moderate arm swing while showing no restrictions; high/over the top slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 82 MPH, while sitting 81-82 MPH; plays up in the zone. CB: 67-69 MPH; 11-5 shape. CH: 75-76 MPH; fading action. Reliever type with ability to go up with FB and pound CB below bats, attacking style.

Derek Von Allman, Dos Palos (CA), 2022
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Physical: 5-10, 170-pounds; Athletic, muscular build. 7.59 runner in the 60.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using an angled drop step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a long stride landing in-line with the plate. Long arm swing while showing effortless and fluid actions; high-3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 82 MPH, while sitting 80-82 MPH; straight action. CB: 68-69 MPH; lands for strikes. SL: 68-71 MPH; tilting break. CH: 73-74 MPH; maintains same plain. Classic overhead delivery, fluid athleticism on mound, feel for the zone, clean arm, starter's repertoire.

Trevor Van Ornum, San Joaquin Memorial (CA), 2023
Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Physical: 6-0, 175-pounds; Athletic, proportional build. 7.70 runner in the 60.
Pitching: Uses an arm side setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a long stride landing in-line with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing no restrictions; high-3/4 slot. Upright with finish. FB: Peak velo of 81 MPH, while sitting 78-81 MPH; arm side run. CB: 66-69 MPH; showed depth. SL: 68-70 MPH; tilting break. CH:  MPH; Feel for both breaking balls, settled in during the session and commanded FB best out of the stretch.

Easton Rogers, Redwood (Visalia, CA), 2024
Positional Profile: 1B/RHP
Physical: 6-4, 210-pounds; Long, athletic build. 7.78 runner in the 60.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride landing in-line with the plate. Short take back while arm stays in line with 2B; Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 77 MPH, while sitting 75-76 MPH; straight action. CB: 58-60 MPH; slurve like action. CH: 71-73 MPH; runs. Short takeaway with some ability to hide behind his head, FB/CHG movement patterns and feel complement each other well.

KC Karbowski, Heritage (Brentwood, CA), 2024
Positional Profile: 1B/LHP
Physical: 5-10, 179-pounds; Broad shouldered, sturdy build. 7.93 runner in the 60.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup working primarily from the stretch. Belt high leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a long stride landing in-line with the plate. Long arm swing while arm wraps behind the body; low-3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 74 MPH, while sitting 72-73 MPH; arm side run with sink.
