1.21.17 (Freshmen Free Showcase) - Athletic projectable frame at 5-foot-10, 157-pounds. Nice tempo through delivery with some build up. Smooth and fluid throughout. Sound arm action throwing from a high three quarter arm slot. Good drive from backside with finish. Lands going towards first base occasionally. Shows average arm speed pitching with small effort. More in tank. FB topped out at 79 mph and ranged from 76-78 with slight sink on the pitch. Breaking ball ranged from 65-67 and showed 11/5 shape with a shorter, gradual break. Good shape, potential to get better Changeup ranged from 64-66 with slight fade on the pitch.........Hits from a slightly open set up. Short quick load to hitting position. Level swing path with uphill finish. Average balance throughout. Quick hands and average bat speed. Ran a 4.3 home to first. Exit velocity of 78 mph. Active feet in the field. Works thru ball well. Clean hands and actions. Quick arm action with an 80 mph infield velocity.
