Dodgers Elite Scout Day

For most in the baseball world the summer schedule is as hectic as it gets. From scouts to coaches to players, everyone is traveling the country looking for the best experiences possible and many are trying to navigate the landscape to put themselves in the best possible situation to #BeSeen.

At Prep Baseball our scouts are spending their time just as you are, chasing the best baseball they can find all while making it easier for the player to put his best foot forward in the recruiting process. Our Summer Tour of open showcases takes the approach of making it easier for the player to find a local event, open to all grad classes and skill levels, and providing the opportunity to get in front of our scouts during the hectic schedule of summer baseball, keeping their Prep Baseball Profile as current as possible. 

The Dodgers Elite Scout Day is slated for Wednesday, August 28th for players that are part of the Dodgers Elite Scout Team.

All highlights from the Dodgers Elite Scout Day will be promoted on PrepBaseballReport.com. Prep Baseball is subscribed to by over 1000 colleges and pro scouts across the country. All results will be posted on the site; along with players’ highlights.

Invite Only for player in the Dodgers Elite Program

TIMES:
4:30 PM: Players Check-In
5:00 PM: Event Begins

Registered Infielders, Outfielders, and/or Catchers

• Running Times (laser-timed 60-yard dash)
• Vizual Edge (vision testing)
• Offensive Evaluations
  • Mechanical evaluation
  • Live batting practice
  • TrackMan ball flight analysis
  • Blast Motion swing analysis
• Defensive Evaluations
  • Arm strength
  • Agility/range
  • Positional analysis/profile

Registered Pitchers & Catchers

• Pitching Evaluations
  • 15-20 pitch bullpen (fastball and secondary pitches from both windup and stretch)
  • Mechanical evaluation
  • TrackMan pitch velocity, movement, spin analysis
  • Catcher Evaluations (while receiving bullpen)
• Receiving/pitch presentation
  • Blocking/mobility

*NOTE: Player videos will be added to profiles. Videos are only viewable with a Prep Baseball subscription. We will send coupon codes to our subscriptions once videos have been posted.

The Prep Baseball Nevada refund policy is that of a transfer nature. If your son is not able to attend the scheduled date, we will keep a credit on file for a future event. This credit has no expiration date and can be used at any point in the player's high school career.
