Scouting Report

6/05/23

Physical: 6-1, 175 pounds; Athletic, lean build. 7.23 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 94 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep step while being aggressive. Hands are soft while standing up during transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot; easy actions.  INF - 81 MPH.

Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a short stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing no restrictions; standard 3/4 slot. Upright with finish. FB: Peak velo of 83 MPH, while sitting 82-83 MPH; arm side run. CB: 71-73 MPH; showed depth. CH: 76-77 MPH; fading action.
