(3) other breakout performers caught our attention and emerged as spring follows...
- '26 OF Brendan Gilliland (Troy Area) is already physical in the frame at a muscular 6-0, 175lbs. Quality athlete posted a 6.88 60 yard dash and backed it up with an 80MPH outfield arm. The right-handed hitter stepped in for a clean sheet of swings, on the barrel often for a 75% sweet spot rate. Recorded peak exit velo of 86MPH (81MPH AVG).
- '27 C/RHP Nathan Palmer (Troy Area) showed some improvement offensively with impactful hands to the pull-side of the field. Larger 6-1, 210lb frame connects to the ground for an upper-80's MPH exit velo; backspin off the bat.
- '26 OF/RHP Cooper Stutzman (Upper St. Clair) got the most out of his body with zero groundballs during a comfortable BP round. Top of the order type down the road that uses quick trigger and direct path to notch 85MPH top exit velo. Also was a 7.10 runner, among the best of the day. Still green at 5-8, 160lbs.
