west perry 3, east pennsboro 2
East Pennsboro jumped on the board first with a run in the top of the 3rd innings on a hit batter, a sacrifice bunt and a two out single by senior Dylan Pentz. West Perry used their own version of small ball in the bottom of the 6th inning for the win.
Through five innings right-hander Nick Embleton, recently named to the Team Pennsylvania roster for the 2017 PBR Future Games, was in complete control. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound two-way prospect faced just two over the minimum the first two trips through the West Perry order, allowing one walk and two hits.

The bottom of the 6th was a different story as West Perry sent eight batters to the plate, scoring three runs. The rally consisted of a walk, two bunts and a pair of infield singles.
East Pennsboro finally got to West Perry starter Nolan Olszewski in the top of the 7th. The junior gave way to senior Logan Mann after the lead was cut to 3-2. Mann allowed a single but was able to get a strikeout and a fly out with a pair of runners on board to notch the save. Olszewski went 6.1 innings and allowed two runs on just four hits. He struck out two and did not walk a batter.
