Team PA Future Games: Quick Hits
August 14, 2022
The Keystone State took arguably its’ most athletic group to the Future Games a couple weeks ago, landing five runners under the 6.80 mark in the 60-yard dash. The offense led the way during gameplay, pounding out two 10+ hit efforts and a 2-1 overall record against the likes of Illinois, New Jersey, and Midwest.
While there were a tremendous number of talented performances, below we will hit on a few of the standouts that wore the #TeamPA uniform over the course of the week.
Three pitchers touched 90+ mph or better, including a T92 mph FB from flamethrower ‘24 RHP Jeremy Fallon (Souderton), who had college coaches buzzing with 3K in 2IP.
‘24 RHP Jeremy Fallon (@SoudyBaseball, @JeremyFallon26) was simply loud in two innings of work. Had riding 87-90, T91.5? mph FB gaining swing/miss and razor-blade 74-76 mph SL at 2500rpms for strikes, 85 CH↙️.

After recording a 6.51 60-yard dash and 33 inch vertical at 6-foot-2, 170lbs, ‘24 CF Grant Kennedy (Malvern Prep) continued his uber-athletic presence with three hits in eight at-bats, his loudest being a backside RBI triple to the RCF gap in Game 2. Then showed off during BP on the last day, lining low-effort barrels around the park for almost a minute straight.

Would’ve been yesterday’s player of game with RBI triple/2 hit effort, but was slightly beat out by LoNero. Premium ATH w/ ceiling for more. #PBRFG22 @GrantKennedy06 pic.twitter.com/1vT430mEoI

‘24 RHP Cade O’Leary (Central Catholic), who had a big spring in the WPIAL, absolutely carved to the arm-side of the plate with an advanced three-pitch mix. Held 88-90 mph with some deception at release, manipulating a late 11/5, 75-78 mph breaker and mid-80’s CH with depth that flashed plus. Four strikeouts in two innings pitched with much more to come in the frame.
‘24 RHP Cade O’Leary (PA) is one of my fav arms of the week.

Long/lean & projectable.
Downhill at 88-90 (1900) w/ quick arm & spinning quality SL @ 75-78. Firm CH in mid 80s.
Starter profile w/ much m2c..??#PBRFG22 || @PBRPennsylvania pic.twitter.com/igw0r1cuSf

‘24 OF Trevor Dosenbach (Avon Grove) has seen a surge across the board in about every measurable category. Took arguably the top BP round on workout day, notching a 100% sweet spot rate and 95 mph peak exit, 90 mph AVG. Plenty of bat-speed and closed the gap with natural acceleration to all zones. The multi-sport athlete was down in the 6.62 range and manufactured a run by himself in Game 3 after stealing two bases, scoring on an overthrow.
‘24 OF Trevor Dosenbach (Avon Grove) finding his groove at #PBRFG22. 94.3 mph EV single and puts pressure on defense with two stolen bases, scoring on overthrow.

‘24 SS Zach Black (Serra Catholic) led #TeamPA with a 92 mph AVG exit velocity during batting practice, which carried over to a deep home-run in the opening game vs. Illinois. The same Illinois pitching staff only gave up two more runs the entire #PBRFG22 following. Also produced an in-game batted ball of 96 mph on a single, almost knocking over the centerfielder in the process.
After a late 2-run homer in the first game, ‘24 SS Zach Black (@zjblack24, Serra Catholic) showed similar success staying S2L through the ball.

Adjustable hitter that landed final swing over the fence in LF. Trending way up in the state’s JR class.#PBRFG22 x @PBR_Uncommitted pic.twitter.com/rMOXRvW1Ks

‘24 RHP Ian White Jr. (Haverford School) tossed two scoreless from a lower ¾ slot with above-average spin rates. Moved fast and the arm worked on time, keeping hitters in between speeds on 85-87 mph FB (2450rpms) and mid-70’s SL at 2500-2700. Movement patterns and pace suggest additional velocity on the way soon.
‘24 RHP Ian White Jr. (@Fords_Baseball) spins it among the best in the state. Held 85-87 mph at 2400+ rpms and mixed mid-70’s sweeper with teeth across the zone. Quick, efficient arm from lower slot. Scoreless first inning.#PBRFG22 x @MIanWhiteJr x @PBR_Uncommitted pic.twitter.com/9wZ5r530My

‘24 SS James Schaffer (Pennsbury) was the second fastest runner at 6.61 and handled velocity as well as any hitter on #TeamPA. Went 3-5 with HBP, 2BB, and 4R in gameplay, one of the outs being a barrel at a fielder. Heard from the dugout describing Schaffer from a teammate during an 0-2 count, “He’s always in control.” Would later make it 1-2, 2-2, 3-2, and then singled to right field.
?PA TOP PERFORMER?

‘24 SS James Schaffer (@PSD_Baseball) reached base 6 times in 3 games (HBP, 2BB, 3H), scoring 4 runs in his #PBRFG22 look. Also was a 6.61 runner and 87 mph infield arm during showcase day. Mature. @PBR_Uncommitted x @JamesSchaffer24 x @buckscobaseball pic.twitter.com/aTs5uArPfn

‘24 OF Jack Mislan (Central Bucks East) checked in at 5-foot-11, 210lbs, running a 6.79 60-yard dash, and slugged two deep home runs to the pull-side during a must-watch batting practice session. One traveled to the top left of the scoreboard, a total of 373 feet, at 101 mph exit velocity per Trackman. The uber-physical RHH jumped an 0-0 FB in his second AB for a hard single back through the box. Also threw out a runner from left field on a bullet to the plate, holding the #TeamPA lead deep into Game 3.
‘24 OF Jack Mislan (@cbebaseball, @buckscobaseball all over velocity that catches too much plate for Team PA’s first hit of the game. Had a loud showcase session yesterday at #PBRFG22. Stands out in uniform. @MislanJack pic.twitter.com/TtLN7BpVIf

‘24 RHP Tucker DeLisle (Springside Chestnut Hill) reached back for T91 mph from a tough angle, creating weak contact on righties with the makings of a power SL back across the plate. Added some deception on the finish, falling hard off the left side of the rubber with long levers. Has since made his commitment to West Virginia University.
Upside look at ‘24 RHP Tucker DeLisle (Springside Chestnut Hill), though command varied in/out. Live arm with late life at 87-90, T91 mph (2300-2500rpms). Mixed sweeper with tight cut across, 73-75. #PBRFG22 x @TuckerDeLisle x @ShooterHunt pic.twitter.com/Cqd7jG74Wk

#TeamPA Catchers were an obvious strength at Lakepoint, each of the three (‘24 C Creed Erdos (Seneca Valley), ‘25 C Coy Allman (Donegal), and ‘24 C Jack Reichlin (Downingtown East) going sub-1.90 on pop times with upper-70’s arm-strength.
‘24 C Creed Erdos (PA) can really defend behind the plate, and the bat played with a mature round from the right side.

Sprayed line drives to all fields with more power likely on the way.
Intriguing follow. #PBRFG22 || @PBRPennsylvania pic.twitter.com/3HEANoz8Ir‘25 C Coy Allman (Donegal) has gotten better and better offensively over the past year. Battles with 88-90, gets offspeed up and puts PA ahead 2-0 in B1. Mature actions and leader in the dugout. #PBRFG22 x @TrevorDosenbach x @CoyAllman pic.twitter.com/ZXLImDL5ig
— PBR Pennsylvania (@PBRPennsylvania) July 29, 2022‘24 C Jack Reichlin (Downingtown East) settled into a 1.88 pop time yesterday, and shows off the skill set for this caught-stealing to 3B. Also blocking with tempo, looking to deaden ball. #PBRFG22 x @reichlin_jack pic.twitter.com/H1vPoJZ6UO

Erdos was a big arrow-up player after a strong week offensively and power in the lower half
-
Reichlin got it done with quick twitch and handled the pitching staff with grace, even through tough innings in the heat. Threw out a runner in Game 1.
-
Allman stole multiple shadow pitches on the corners, adding a laser-beam single to center in Game 2.
