The Elite Prospect Showcase took place October 27th at Keystone State Baseball Academy. Today we continue a series of articles analyzing the prospects in attendance with a look at the outfielders that participated.

CLASS OF 2020

Hunter Bojanic, Cedar Crest HS (PA), OF
5-foot-10, 165-pound right-handed hitter starts from an open stance and strides to neutral to begin his swing. Showcased a line drive approach with a bat exit velocity of 76 mph. Displayed athletic actions defensively while routinely playing through the baseball. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash and registered 70 mph arm strength from the outfield. 

Leo Burman, Friends Central School (PA), OF
5-foot-10, 195-pound right-handed hitter starts from an open stance and initiates his swing with a leg-lift stride. Displayed a solid feel for the barrel while routinely squaring baseballs to the pull side with a bat exit velocity of 80 mph. Routinely played through the baseball defensively with accurate 78 mph arm strength to home plate and ran a 7.52 60-yard dash. Athletic frame still has room for additional strength gains.

Drew Butera, Malvern Prep (PA), OF
5-foot-10, 180-pounder impressed following a spring and summer of rehabbing from a knee injury. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to even in initiating his swing. Displayed an explosive lower half and barreled baseball consistently with authority during a solid round of bating practice. Registered an 85 mph bat exit velocity and showcased an event best 92 mph arm strength from the outfield. Talented prospect will draw considerable interest this coming spring and summer as one of the top uncommitted outfielders in this class.

Brian Menhardt, Wissahickon HS (PA), OF
5-foot-10, 150-pound left-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a toe-tap stride. Showcased the ability to routinely stay behind the baseball with a flat barrel path. Consistently found the barrel in a solid round of batting practice while registering an 86 mph bat exit velocity. Ran a 6.81 60-yard dash and showcased athletic actions defensively with accurate 71 mph arm strength.

Cameron Trego, Coatesville Area HS (PA), LHP/OF
5-foot-11, 160-pound two-way prospect. Left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a heel-raise stride to initiate his swing. Stays behind the baseball well and showed an above average feel for the barrel with a bat exit velocity of 74 mph. Ran a 6.87 60-yard dash and showcased fluid defensive actions while consistently playing through the baseball. The primary pitcher registered 74 mph arm strength from the outfield and topped at 75 mph during his bullpen session.

CLASS OF 2021

Jarrett Clark, Northampton HS (PA), OF
6-foot, 170-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a heel-raise stride. Showcased a direct swing path while consistently staying inside the baseball with a gap-to-gap approach. Registered an 81 mph bat exit velocity and ran a blazing 6.53 60-yard dash. Moves well in the outfield showing athletic actions and the ability to play through the baseball. Showcased accurate 80 mph arm strength.

Kellen Davis, Penncrest HS (PA), OF/RHP
6-foot, 160-pound two-way prospect. Right-handed hitter starts from an open stance and initiates his swing with a toe-tap stride. Compact swing is dominated by his upper half actions. Registered an 83 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 7.18 60-yard dash. Showcased athletic defensive actions with straight line carry on throws of 83 mph to home plate. The primary outfielder also topped at 83 mph during his bullpen session.

CLASS OF 2022

Vince Fattore, William Penn Charter (PA), OF/RHP 
5-foot-10, 170-pound two-way prospect showcased an all-around skill set that will make him a highly recruited prospect early in his high school career. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a leg-hang stride to initiate his swing. Displayed an advanced feel for the barrel and lift to his swing that creates consistent backspin. Registered an 86 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 6.70 60-yard dash. Fattore showcased the athleticism to be an impact center fielder at the next level. Actions are fluid and 87 mph arm strength has straight line carry. The primary outfielder also topped at 83 mph on the mound during his bullpen session.

Paxton Kling, Central-Martinsburg HS (PA), OF/RHP
6-foot, 170-pound two-way prospect. Kling had the breakout performance of the event, showcasing a well-rounded skill set that will draw the attention of college coaches quickly. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a short, leg-hang stride. Kling displayed advanced timing and rhythm to his swing with very quick hands in consistently making loud contact during his batting practice round. He registered an 89 mph bat exit velocity and ran an event best 6.51 laser timed 60-yard dash. Showed athleticism defensively as well playing through the baseball routinely with accurate 84 mph arm strength. The primary outfielder topped at 82 mph during his bullpen session.
