Background: Arnold is a two-way guy with the ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball. As an outfielder he shows tools in every facet of his game. Arnold ran a 6.95 60-yard dash at his latest event, the best he’s run at a PBR showcase to date. He was also 87 mph from the outfield with athletic actions and a clean arm. At the plate he shows some pop with a strong swing from the right side, showcasing his 91 mph exit velo with a short, compact swing that allows him to drive balls to all fields. On the mound he’s raw, but shows promise. The fastball sat in the 82-83 range, while his curveball lived 69-71 and a changeup that showed some depth at 75-79. Over the course of his high school career, Arnold has continued to get stronger and definitely a solid pickup in the 2018 class.Need to Know: |
