Ontario Insider: 2018 PBR ProCase Preview
On May 10, Prep Baseball Report Ontario will host its annual ProCase at Dan Lang Field at the University of Toronto, Scarborough.
The event spotlights some of the best Canadian talent. This Thursday’s ProCase will feature some of the biggest names of the 2018 class, a few of which have a chance to hear their names called in the MLB June Draft. Aside from the seniors, the event will feature some of the top underclassmen in the province, including 2019 graduates Jaden Brown and Owen Diodati, and 2020 graduate Austin Gomm.
Since its inception, the PBR Ontario ProCase has seen participants of the calibre of former MLB Draft picks Andy Yerzy, Jordan Balazovic, Adam Hall, and Landon Leach perform at the event. Thursday will surely showcase the next wave of talent in front of a number of MLB scouts and collegiate coaches.

Report: A strong 6-8, 250-pound right hander presents an intimidating presence on the mound, topping out at 90 mph. His changeup works well off his fastball while the curveball has good late bite, Abram is able to consistently pound the bottom of the zone with all three pitches. |
