OK Top Senior Games Leaderboard Curveball Metrics: (Trackman Pitchers)

Today we're taking an in-depth look at some of the top curveball metrics at the Oklahoma Top Senior Games showcase from data collected from the Trackman. As technology continues to improve, we are learning more and more about what makes each pitch unique and effective to each individual pitcher.
The firmest curveball from the event belonged to Jackson Hodge at 76 mph with Andersen Dotolo right behind him at 74 mph. Cody Sorrells topped the leaderboard in the important metric of average spin rate at an impressive 2323 rpms with Hodge logging an average of 2228 rpm and Christopher Wall coming in at 2174 rpm. Sorrells had the biggest east/west breaker with an average horizontal break of 12.7 inches. Christopher Wall had the largest depth on the breaking ball with an average induced vertical break of 12.7 inches to go along with his impressive 10.2 inch average of horizontal break. Sorrells topped the event with an impressive 35 Bauer Units with Christopher Wall coming in at 34 Bauer Units and 4 others getting to 30.
