PBR OK hosted the third annual OK Preseason All-State Showcase at the state of the art World Baseball Outreach indoor facility. There were nearly 95 invite-only players showcased their skill in front of the PBR OK staff, 3 colleges and a pro scout. The talented event saw ten sub 7.00 60s, nine 90+ exit velos, 16 infield velos of 80+, four outfield velos of 85+, seven sub 2.00 second pop times, and 23 max fastballs at 80+ mph. Players profiles have been updated with stats, pictures, and video. The number below do not represent a players all-time best, only what they achieved at this event.

William Armour C / RHP / Bishop Kelley , OK / 2021A lean and developing 5-foot-11, 150-pound frame with lots of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with smooth up, down, and out leg kick before sinking into his back side and striding to the dish. Arm action is moderate and fluid in the back before coming through a 3/4 slot. Fastball sits 72-74 mph with consistent arm-side run, some strikes. Changeup shows some fade at 64-68 mph, some strikes. Curveball has 11/5 shape with rolling action at 66-67 mph, some strikes.

Jonah Mahen SS / RHP / Crossing Christian, OK / 2021A lean and athletic 5-foot-9, 160-pound frame with room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works only from the stretch with an up, down, and out leg kick before finishing balanced. Arm action is long and quick in the back with a quick change of direction at the bottom of the arm stroke before coming through a high-¾ slot with arm speed. Fastball did not show the same upper 80s velo we have seen in the past out of Mahen, on this day sitting 81-82 mph, mostly strikes.
