With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Wilmington Hurricane

Head Coach: Dustin James

2017 Record: 14-7
Conference Record: Last year: South Central Ohio League, 10-4, 2nd This year: Southern Buckeye Athletic and Academic Conference
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4/3
Team Strengths:

Coach Outlook: “We lost quality starting pitching from last season. We also lost 2/3 of our starting outfield. We will be looking for younger guys to step up and fill roles under the leadership of our Seniors.”
PBR Outlook: The Willmington Hurricane and head coach Dustin James look to build on last year's 14-win campaign. If the young guys can fill their role, look for the Hurricane to be competitive throughout the year.
