Top Uncommitted 2016 Outfielders

Bryant Shellenbarger, Mount Vernon
Ranked: 44th in Ohio’s 2016 class
Scouting Report: Missed most of the 2015 spring and summer injury due to injury. Was a standout on Team Ohio at the 2014 Future Games. Likely a JUCO candidate. Good, projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 186-pounds. Projects as a corner outfield type. Best tool is his bat. LHH with athletic stance. Uses a short stride. Line drive production with pull tendencies to his swing. Needs to continue working on using the entire field. Top exit velocity of 90 mph. Likely a left fielder at the next level. Slingy type arm action from 3/4 arm slot. Top velocity of 85 mph on his throws. Needs to develop more aggressive approach to the ball. Ran a 7.06 60-yard dash.
