2018 Preseason All-State - Division I

With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Preseason All-State - Division I
With the amount of talent in the Buckeye State, choosing a select number for All-State teams is not an easy task. That said, it is a joy to be able to see this great talent at events throughout the year, be able to comb through our database and get information from around that state from coaches as well as scouts. To come up with our Preseason All-State teams, there were numerous considerations including ... spring 2017 performance, summer 2017 showing, fall/winter workouts as well as projection for spring 2018, talking with coaches around the state and much more.
Being able to see so much talent live while also getting information from around the state gives us at PBR Ohio solid information when deciding who is going to part of our All-State teams. 1st team and 2nd team are broken down to include a select number of players in each, with honorable mention expanded to showcase the amount of talent we have and represent all corners of the state all across the Buckeye State.
Listed are the 2018 Preseason All-State teams which will soon be followed up by the Preseason Team Power Rankings that will be released on Wednesday the 21st of March.
For those not making these preseason teams, keep working hard in your quest to be part of the end-of-the-year honors we will publish in June. We look forward to another amazing high school season and good luck to everyone out there.
