Scouting Report
WNY All-Star Games (September 24, 2017) Leibert stands 5-foot-10, 175-pounds with a thicker lower half. He uses a simple tempo to his delivery, high knee lift, hands stay high and away from his body. He stays slightly crouched over his balance point as he powers forward, arm-action is straight back, medium arm length, releases from a high-3/4 slot. Fastball peaked at 78 mph with some natural sink. Curveball sat 70-72 mph with early 10-5 shape with feel for command. Overall, a little more length in his stride and a longer arm-action could help with additional velocity gains as he matures. Still only a Sophomore, Leibert will be an arm to watch for come this spring and summer.
