HIGH SCHOOL DRAFT 100 PROSPECTS
Lenny Torres, RHP, Beacon HS, NY (St. John's)
Charles Mack, SS, Williamsville East HS, NY (Clemson)
Brandon Neeck, LHP, Horace Greeley HS, NY (Virginia)
OTHERS TO WATCH: C Henry Davis (Fox Lane HS, NY) features one of the strongest arms across the country behind the plate. The Super 60 attendee and Louisville recruit has picked up the pace offensively this spring at the plate, an area that was in question prior. OF Matt Hogan (Half Hollows Hills East HS, NY) opened some eyes at the Super 60 in February with an athletic frame and smooth lefty stroke. Hogan, a Vanderbilt recruit, ran a 6.77 60 and threw 91 mph from the outfield. OF Brian Hart (Saratoga Springs HS, NY) is the best overall athlete in the 2018 class as a plus runner and his arm is live with carry to his throws. He has pull side juice, though there is some rawness to his game. He is committed to Marist. RHP Connor Fenlong (Governeur HS, NY) has a physical power pitcher's frame at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds. It’s a low mileage arm from the Northern Adirondacks and has been up to 88-90. He is committed to Wabash Valley JC. RHP Leury Tejada (Walton HS, NY) has lean, wiry frame and pitches from a low slot in the 88-91 range with a good slider. He is committed to New Mexico JC. IF Max Giordano (Lancaster HS, NY) is a highly athletic middle infielder committed to Niagara. He runs a 6.82 60 with enough arm strength for the left side. LHP Franklin Parra (Copiague HS, NY) is a San Jacinto JC recruit who has been 88-91 while featuring a high-70s to low-80s slider. He also has a projectable frame at 6-foot-1, 170 pounds.
