The first ever Interstate Games will take place at Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex in Cortland, NY this upcoming Saturday, October 1st.

* 10-30-60's, Offensive Rotation, Defensive Workout. Visual Edge and Swift EZE Jump mats also will be incorporated. POSITION PLAYERS ONLY. Pitcher Only do not need to attend unless they would like to run the 60 and perform the EZE Jump testing.

Connor Usowski LHP / 1B / Port Byron, NY / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 53 / POS: 8 The big frame LHH checks in at 6-foot-4 210lbs and will see some time on the mound on Saturday. Can lift/drive the ball to the pull side but yet covers the zone with some sweep to the swing path. Velo will hand in the mid to upper 70's but features a down action CB and has shown the ability to get outs this summer at PBR-Tournaments.

 

John Francesconi RHP / 3B / Marcellus, NY / 2023 Rankings  StateRank: 176 / POS: 56 The 6-foot-3 RHP & 3B has shown enough arm strength to hang on the left side of the diamond. Ideal pitcher's build with more in the tank. The Uncommitted Senior worked 80-83 at the 2022 NYS Games back in June while averaging 12" of horizontal movement to his CB.

Middle INF

Thomas Woodridge SS / 3B / Fayetteville Manlius, NY / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 35 / POS: 3 Most likely the toughest AB for opposing pitchers this Saturday. Will grind out deep counts, waste good pitches and find his way on base. Steady defender; two-time State Game and Future Game attendee. Wofford Commit.

 

Ethan Harris SS / 3B / CBA- Syracuse, NY / 2024 Had our first look at Harris back in early August. The 6-foot-1 180lb RHH showed a short, compact swing with line drive results. Defensively could fill role at 2B/SS/3B.

 

Eamon Giblin SS / 3B / Jamesville Dewitt, NY / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 50 / POS: 16 An up and coming prospect from the 2025 class. The 6-foot-2 160lb SS/RHP will also see some time on the mound. Posted 73 MPH peak bat speed with 90 MPH exit velo back in August and will only climb in the offensive statistical metrics as his frame fills out. 7.16 runner in the 60..

Jack Landau OF / LHP / CBA-Syracuse, NY / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 105 / POS: 9 The LHH has been a consistent performer over his past events, including this summer's NYS Games where he's knocked his 60 time down to 7.00. Peaks of 91 MPH exit and 73.2 MPH bat speed at past events.

 

Nikolas Nelson OF / LHP / Trumansburg , NY / 2025 Intriguing 6-foot-1 178lb RHH who we last saw in March. Spread stance with a flat path; accurate arm from the OF. Looking forward to tracking his progress.

 

Ethan Snyder OF / Marcellus , NY / 2023 Rankings  StateRank: 148 / POS: 19 Snyder packs and explosive punch of out a 5-foot-10 175lb frame. Top efforts in the following catergories: 60 (6.86), Exit Velo (93 MPH), Bat Speed (73.8), OF Arm (82 MPH). Slashing swing path, table setter approach for the Adelphi Commit.

 

Jacob Severson OF / C / West Genesee, NY / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 240 / POS: 35 First look at the projectable RHH in the 2024 class. Short and repeatable swing path with more juice on the way. 7.19 runner in the 60.

Pitcher Only

RJ Benedetto LHP / OF / Henninger, NY / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 42 / POS: 5 Up & coming Southpaw who's run his FB up to 85 MPH this summer from a short arm stroke. Averages nearly 13-15" of arm side run at past events while featuring a late, down action 12-6 CB.

 

Gavin Nicholls LHP / OF / Fayetteville Manlius , NY / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 54 / POS: 9 Another Southpaw on the rise from Central NY. Up to 80 MPH with 2200 RPM with a long, clean arm action. Projectable build at 6-foot-1 155lbs and has shown athleticism in the OF as well.

 

Gavin Miller LHP / OF / Baldwinsville , NY / 2023 Rankings  StateRank: 27 / POS: 2 The two time NY State Game and 2021 Future Game attendee checks in at 6-foot-1 168lbs with a mid 80's FB (2300+ spin). Sweeping 1-7 action CB with high end spin metrics of 2400+ for the George Washington commit.

 

William Markwood RHP / 3B / Manlius Pebble Hill, NY / 2023 Rankings  StateRank: 171 / POS: 52 The 6-foot-1 righty worked 81-83, T 84 (2276 RPM) at the this past summer's NY State Games. Averaged 14.1" of horizontal movement to the FB and has the makings to add more velo long term. Skidmore College commit.

 

Ty Corey LHP / 1B / John C. Birdlebough, NY / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 42 / POS: 4 Exciting follow in the 2025 class. The Southpaw has been up to 81 MPH this summer with low spin traits. Hight slot with a FB that works downhill; down action CB in the mid 60's.
