Brooklyn Bonnies Workout
October 29, 2019
We recently had boots on the ground at the Parade Grounds in Brooklyn for the Brooklyn Bonnies fall workout. Here are some of the players that stood out:
TOP PERFORMERS
Myles Vazquez 1B / LHP / Grand Street Campus, NY / 2022Proportional build for the LHH 1B/LHP. Showed a consistent line drive stroke to the pullside but can also split gaps. Above average barrel control. Handles himslef in both the OF and around the bag at 1B. Up to 78 MPH on the mound with a big breaking ball at 64-67 MPH
|
Jasper Andrianarivo 2B / RHP / Fort Hamilton, NY / 2021Slight frame, plays the game beyond the numbers. Bounce in his step up the middle with slick actions and quick release. Handles the bat well with a simplistic, line drive approach. Competitor.
|
Zachary Colon C / OF / Aviation , NY / 2022Solid frame to the RHH C/RHP. Showed above average BP Round taking the first pitch well beyond the 325' sign down the LF line out onto the street with wood. Continued to hammer the ball in that direction. With continued polish behind the plate he will be a player to stay locked in on. Also up to 79 (81 in June) off the mound.
|
Arjun Joseph LHP / 1B / Xaverian , NY / 2022LHP that was up 4 MPH from his preseason event and continues to show development of his secondary pitches. Worked 75-77 MPH with more to come.
