We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2020 The Best Of Stamford Showcase. This was a great opportunity for 2021-2024 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories.

2020 The Best Of Stamford Showcase - Quick Hits

Position Players

• Mika Petersen- A left-handed hitter, spread out approach, lightning quick hands to the baseball. More of a line drive pull approach, can really move, ran a 6.59 sixty-yard dash. 
• Jack Benner- A right-handed hitter, wider setup, good power to the middle of the field, hard contact in game play, with multiple line drives, ran a 6.8 sixty-yard dash. Threw 81 mph across the diamond, chance to be an athletic 1st baseman or could move to left field pretty easily.
• Michael Iorfino- A right-handed hitter, only a 2023, very strong hands, had an exit of 89 mph, gap to gap approach, plus pop for his age.
• Armondo Gonzalez- A right-handed hitter, balanced, sits in a small squat, short compact swing, loud contact all day. Good runner for a catcher, ran a 7.0. A 2020 would be a great pickup midseason. Showed arm strength behind the plate.
• Cole Glatzhofer- A right-handed hitter, super athletic, more vertical setup, baseball jumps off the bat, quick hands, with an 88 mph exit velocity, ton more in there, big time sleeper.
• Connor McGee- A monster right-handed hitter, open to even, powerful swing, level to up, little long at times, major exit velocity at 94 mph. Showed a big arm behind the plate. 
• Miles Aquila- A left-handed hitter, balanced middle approach, line drive, contact guy.  Very smooth defensively in both outfield and at 1st base. Looks to have a major feel for the game. 
• Christian Rubino-Chuckas- A right-handed hitter, short compact line drive swing. An average runner, showed arm strength, projects more at second base long term. 
• Matthew Marini- A right-handed hitter, balanced approach, super clean path.  Looks to drive the baseball from field to field. Exit velocity of 89 mph, easy life off the bat. 
• Antonio Belgrove- A left-handed hitter, toolsy athletic, hands work at the plate, exit velocity of 87 mph, threw well from outfield, arm clocked at 79 mph. A good runner at 7.0.

Pitchers

• Vasili Kelesidis- A right-handed pitcher, super loose and free arm from a higher slot. The fastball touched 85 mph, sitting at 82 mph.  Lived down in the zone, harder breaker at 71 mph, more of a swing and miss pitch. A young body, look for a significant jump in velocity by spring, arm works.
• Michael Iofino- A right-handed pitcher, throws a heavy ball with bore action, reached 81 mph, spun the breaking ball in the mid 60’s. Only a 2023, room to grow.
• Jake Benner- A right-handed pitcher, clean arm from high ¾ slot, fastball reached 84 mph, threw more of a sweeping breaking ball, chance to be an out pitch. Physical frame.
• Tyler Restivo- A right-handed pitcher, more of a sinker slider guy, good arm side run, fastball touched 81 mph. Pounded the true curveball in at 65-66 mph.
• Ethan Hunt- A right-handed pitcher, has a projectable frame, arm is loose and works, fastball up to 76 mph, with more in the tank.
