Scouting Report
Neglia has a solid frame and is well put together. He stands 6-foot-2, 220 pounds and has a very high compete level. He pitches from a ¾ arm slot and has a clean arm action and plus arm speed. He has a firm tempo and very repeatable hand rhythm into separation. He has a very high compete level and put the “choke hold” on each pitcher with excellent fastball command, particularly to his glove side and down. His fastball was firm with angle at 86-90 miles-per-hour. He showcased his curveball both in and out of the zone with authority. His 11-to-5 curveball was 71-72 in the zone and 74-75 for an out. It had plus-plus spin rate and was a late downer action. Playing for the Indiana Prospects, he has certainly garnered attention and will be a great grab for a division one program this summer.
