Scouting Report
Klimowich is a 5-foot-11 outfielder from Fair Lawn High School who possesses an athletic frame and broad shoulders. He was a big winner from the Top Prospect Games, lighting up nearly every showcase category by running a 6.69 6-yard dash, throwing on the bag from the outfield at 86 miles-per-hour, and showing 85 MPH exit velocity off of the tee. Defensively, Klimowich has the tools to be an outfielder; couple that with his ability to get solid reads and it puts him in the category of potential elite level defender. In the box Klimowich hits from a relaxed, athletic stance. He has a small leg kick and a minor load of his hands into a repeatable hitting position. He has strength in his compact swing and when looking to use all fields, has the ability to keep a flat bat and spray hard line drives around the outfield. He does, however, have a tendency to think pull side and get slightly uphill. He completes his swing with full extension and has some power potential.
