2020 Northeast Future Games - Team Massachusetts Workout Day Notes

The 2020 Future Games will have a different look to it as we have decided to do our own Future Games based off of Covid-19 restrictions. PBR Michigan, PBR New England, PBR New Jersey, PBR New York, PBR Ohio, and PBR Pennsylvania are combining for the Northeast Future Games at Showers Field and Stern Field in DuBois Pennsylvania.

Catchers

Report: Bollin took a solid batting practice, launching numerous baseballs out of the yard. He showed arm strength behind the dish and a solid transfer on his throws down to second base. |
Kyle Lavigne C / 1B / Bishop Guertin, NH / 2022Rankings StateRank: 6 / POS: 2
Report: Lavigne sprayed the ball all around the yard, showing a simple swing and clean hand path to the ball. The defensive portion behind the dish was good as well, throwing the ball on the bag and showing plenty of arm strength. |

Report: Renzella displayed good hand speed at the plate with plenty room for growth. The throwing behind the plate was solid as the arm path is clean and loose. |

Report: Goodman took a legit batting practice showing potential to drive the ball. He ran well and showed soft hands and a strong arm from the middle of the field. |

Report: Agabedis turned in a legit workout as he stayed in his skill set throughout the workout. He swung the bat well as he is in position to hit at all time. The glove is soft and showed a good feel at the pivot. The arm has good strength to it and its clean. |

Report: Scott showed a clean left-handed path as he sprayed the ball all over the yard. The hands are quick and he stays in his leg. The glove is solid as a defender and he shows a clean arm. |

Report: Walsh showed clean hands at the dish and gap to gap power. The path is flat and he stays in position to hit. The glove is soft and he showed a clean arm across the diamond. |

Report: Stephenson displayed a clean left-handed swing, semi uphill as the hands work. The frame should fill as he matures as the skill set is good. The glove is solid at third and he kept the feet active throughout. |

Report: Lussier stayed in his legs with the bat, spreading the ball around the yard. The hands are simple and quick to contact. The approach in the outfield is aggressive and athletic. He is a solid prospect. |
Andrew Manning OF / Boston College, MA / 2023Report: Manning is a left-handed hitting 2023 outfielder. The approach in the outfield is under control and athletic. The bat has plus life to it, as he shows a flat stroke with plenty of room for strength. He is a legit prospect in the 2023 class. |

Report: Toomey is a physical right-handed hitting outfielder who showed plus life with the bat. The setup is clean and he hammered the ball in the middle of the field. The approach in the outfield is athletic and aggressive. He is a good thrower with good physicality. |
Thomas White LHP / OF / Phillips Academy, Andover, MA / 2023Report: White is a left-handed hitting outfielder whose approach in the outfield is athletic and online. He threw the ball very well from right field to the plate. The hands work at the plate as he has leverage and a good feel for getting the barrel to the ball. |

Report: Mexico took a great batting practice session as the hands are quick and strong. He launched balls out of the yard. The approach in the outfield is athletic and aggressive as he can really throw. He earns our Team Massachusetts MVP of the workout. |
