The 2024 Prep Baseball Future Games will kick off with a workout day at LakePoint in Emerson, GA on Wednesday July 24th.  The event will feature each territory in Prep Baseball bringing the top uncommitted players in their 2026 class.  This event has become a "must see" for college coaches as they are working to get into the rising Junior class.

2024 will feature a new look for the Future Games.  With new recruiting rules in place, limiting contact with prospects prior to August 1st of their Junior year, there was an expectation that some territories may see more top end propsects still uncommitted.  With that said, Team North Carolina will debut in 2024.  For the past five years, North Carolina and South Carolina have combined on a Future Games team, Team Carolina.  Prior to that, North Carolina players played with Virginia and Maryland as part of Team Mid-Atlantic for a year.  This year, Team North Carolina will feature approximately 24 uncommitted 2026 grads, all from North Carolina.

Team North Carolina Schedule:
Wednesday July 24 -- 4:30pm -- Workout Day with Team VA and Team MD
Thursday July 25 -- 7:00pm  -- Game vs. Team South Carolina
Friday July 26 -- 12:30pm -- Game vs. Maryland
Saturday July 27 -- 8:30am -- Live BP on field followed by Game vs. Team Virginia

The Future Games will be played in its entirety at LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson, GA on Fields 9, 10, 11, and 12.

Previewing Team North Carolina: Outfielders

Harrison Ailshie OF / LHP / East Rowan , NC / 2026

One of the top hitters in North Carolina, regardless of class, may quickly become one of the top hitters in the country with a strong showing at the Future Games.  With a flare for producing in high profile situations, Ailshie helped to propel East Rowan to the 3A State Title in 2024. A good athlete, Ailshie also pitches for East Rowan but will concentrate on his duties in the box and in the OF for Team Carolina.

Cole Blevins OF / RHP / West Rowan High, NC / 2026

Blevins took advantage of the final Open ID prior to the Future Games turning in one of the better BP rounds of the summer.  An advanced left handed hitter he has the ability to find the barrel with authority on a consistnet basis.  A good athlete, Blevins will turn heads on the workout day with some of the numbers he produces.

Riley Cuddy OF / RHP / GRACE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, NC / 2026

Is this the most raw power in the 2026 class... We will see.  His BP rounds have been loud off the bat, and quiet in the stands as everyone stops what they are doing to see Cuddy swing the bat. Expect bat speed, exit velocity, and overall distance off the bat to compete with anyone in the country but it is the game play where Cuddy could become a high end prospect with a good week.

Ryan Engle OF / LHP / WESTCHESTER COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL, NC / 2026

A dual prospect, Engle will get the chance to shine in the outfield and on the bump.  A left handed hitter, there is power to all fields with a unique ability to find the barrel against high end arms, even with length in the young frame.  It is easy for coaches to dream where this frame will be in a couple of years, but the current production is high end as well.  Along with his prospect in the box, Engle will flash low-90's stuff from the left side on the bump.
