T24 Scout Day: Quick Hitters - Hitters

On Wednesday November 2rd PBR of South Carolina was on hand at Field Day Park in Clover, SC for the T24 Scout Day. The event featured players from the 2023-2027 grad classes.
The evening started with catchers going through a defensive evaluation then pitchers throwing a controlled bullpen with Trackman collecting data analytics. After the bullpens, position players ran a laser timed 60 followed by outfielders and infielders going through a defensive evaluation. BP on the field with Trackman collecting ball flight data followed the defensive evaluations to finish the day.

Quick Hitters - Hitters
6-0 170 pound strong physical frame with lots of athleticism. Hits from a balanced stance with a smooth controlled load. Takes aggressive swings with big time bat speed with an aggressive line drive approach. Max exit speed with 94.8 mph with a max distance of 373 feet. Showed a good arm from the outfield with a max velo up to 90 mph.
Large frame at 6-0 215 pound frame with present strength. Hits from a simple balanced set up and uses a small leg left and stride to get loaded up. Has a gap to gap approach while working above the baseball. Had a max exit velo of 90.8 mph and a max distance of 291 feet.
6-0 195 pound strong physical and athletic frame. Hits from a wider base with a medium leg lift and stride. An aggressive approach with a natural uphill path with an average launch angle of 34.3 degrees. Had a max exit velo of 90.2 mph and a max distance of 353 feet.
6-0 175 pound athletic frame. Balanced base with a slightly open stance. Has a medium leg lift and stance to a balanced hitting position. A solid line drive approach with a high finish out front. A max exit velo of 89.5 mph with a max distance of 268 feet. Behind the plate showed a quick clean transfer with aggressive footwork.
5-8 155 pound frame. Hits from a wider base with a small stride. Shows good bat speed with an aggressive approach. Some natural lift in his swing and a max exit velo of 88.4 mph and a max distance of 312 feet. Quick feet and exchange behind the plate with accurate throws down to 2B.
Big strong physical frame at 6-0 201 pounds. Left handed hitter that gets out on his front foot with a small stride. Gets bat head out while looking to do damage. Max exit velo of 88.1 mph and a max distance of 326 feet. Shows big power potential in the future.
6-0 170 pound lean athletic frame. Left handed hitter with a balanced approach and a small stride. Has a flat stroke with a whole field approach with lots of line drives and consistent contact. Max exit velo of 87.9 moh and a max exit distance of 307 feet. Good clean actions in the infield while showing the ability to throw from different arm angles.
5-10 155 pound frame with room to add on. Left handed hitter that hits from a wider balanced stance with a small stride. Has a smooth flat strong through the ball with good extension out front. A good line drive approach with consistent contact with a max exit velo of 87.3 mph and a max distance of 335 feet. Showed very smooth action in the infield while having good clean foot work and good soft hands while fielding the ball out front.
6-2 210 pound strong frame. Hits from the left side with some croup and slightly opened. Has a medium left and string to balance. Natural lift in swing with a gap to gap approach. Max exit velo of 87.2 mph with a max distance of 316 feet.
5-10 155 pound lean frame. Hits from a balanced and simple setup with a small stride. Showed an uphill path with a loft in his swing producing an average launch angle of 32 degrees. An max exit velo of 86.4 mph and a max distance of 319 feet. Behind the plate showed a quick exchange transfer and good footwork with a best pop time of 2.04.
