The PBR MN Prospect ID- Duluth event took place on Saturday, August 10, 2019. The event was held at Wade Stadium in Duluth, MN. The event featured prospects from the 2020 through 2023 grad classes; and included many breakout performances from this year's participants. Players showcased their talents in front of our scouting staff and college coaches in attendance.

outfieldER EVALUATIONS (ALPHA)

Connor Bushbaum, OF, South Ridge, 2021
5-foot-11, 168-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. 7.16 runner.  Open athletic stance with lower handset.  Smaller leg lift and strides to square.  Small hand load.  Dives into pitch and leaves backside.  Average swing plane and bat speed.  Uses the whole field with ground ball and line drive contact.  Inconsistent contact with 72 mph exit velocity.  OF- Average feet to field and into release. Good glove and fields through ball clean.  Short arm action.  82 mph arm strength with below average carry and average accuracy.

Tyler Egan, LHP/OF, Eastview, 2022
6-foot-4, 185-pound switch hitting 2-way player.  7.46 runner.  RHH- Slightly closed balanced stance.  Body and hand load back with no stride.  Slightly uphill swing plane with short finish.  Pushes barrel through zone.  Mid/pull approach with groundball contact.  Inconsistent barrel contact.  LHH- Slightly open balanced stance.  Body and small hand load.  Flat swing plane with shorter finish.  Mid/pull approach with mainly line drive contact.  Consistent solid contact and average barrel.  81 mph exit velocity.  OF- Average glove and makes routine play.  Feet can get long and into release.  Good carry with slight tail.  Average accuracy on 85 mph arm strength.

Tommy Hamann, OF, Wayzata, 2022
6-foot-2, 195-pound right-handed hitting outfielder.  7.02 runner.  Big young frame.  Open balanced stance.  Small leg lift and hand load down.  Average swing plane with higher finish.  Mid/pull approach with ground ball to fly ball contact.  Average contact and flashed pop in barrel.  82 mph exit velocity.  OF- Attacks ball and average feet to field into release.  Glove is stiff.  Longer arm action.  77 mph arm strength with average carry and accuracy. 

Noah Hanson, OF/RHP, McDonell Central (WI), 2022
6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.19 runner.  Good frame. Open balanced stance. Leg lift trigger. Strides to square and hand load back.  Average swing plane.  Mid/pull approach with ground ball and line drive contact. Average contact and flashed some strength in barrel.  84 mph exit velocity.  OF- Attacks ball and heavy feet to field through release.  Stiff glove.  Longer arm action with some push at release.  75 mph arm strength with average accuracy and fade carry.

Danny Howell, OF/RHP, Centennial, 2021
6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player.  7.30 runner.  Slightly open stance with high handset.  Leg lift trigger and hand load back.  Some stiffness through swing.  Average swing plane.  Aggressive. Pull approach with ground ball and line drive contact. Average barrel contact with 77 mph exit velocity.  OF- Average feet to field.  Stiff glove and makes routine play.  Some push to release.  74 mph arm strength with below average carry and accuracy.

Jack Pineau, RHP/OF, Hammarskjold (ONT), 2022
5-foot-11, 150-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player.  7.33 runner.  Upright and open stance.  Toe tap trigger and hand load.  Good swing plane.  Mid/pull approach with ground ball and line drive contact.  Average contact and barrel.  77 mph exit velocity.  OF- Aggressive feet to field and can get long through release.  Works high to field with stiff glove.  Average carry and accuracy with 80 mph arm strength.

Christopher Sampson, OF/LHP, Duluth East, 2020
6-foot-2, 185-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player.  7.38 runner.  Open stance with high handset.  Toe tap trigger and hand load back.  Arm bars creating length to contact.  Flat swing plane.  Pull approach with ground ball to fly ball contact.  Inconsistent contact and flashed strength in barrel.  89 mph exit velocity.  OF- Good feet to field and through release.  Good glove and fields ball clean.  Average carry and accuracy with 80 mph arm strength.

William Schorr, OF, Superior (WI), 2020
6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed hitting outfielder.  6.83 runner.  Slightly closed athletic stance.  Toe tap trigger and hand load down.  Barrel pushes through zone.  Off balance at times.  Mid/pull approach with groundball and line drive contact.  Inconsistent barrel contact with 84 mph exit velocity. OF- Aggressive feet to ball.  Glove tends to flip out with some stiffness.  Shorter arm action.  77 mph arm strength with fade carry and average accuracy. 

Joseph Solomon, OF, Carlton, 2022
5-foot-9, 171-pound right-handed hitting outfielder.  7.08 runner.  Slightly closed wide balanced stance.  Small hand load and stride.  Small arm bar at times.  Swing plane is flat with short finish.  Middle approach with ground ball to fly ball contact.  Inconsistent barrel contact with 74 mph exit velocity.  OF- Good feet to field.  Solid glove and fields through ball clean.  Short arm action. Below average accuracy with fade carry.

Joe Vos, OF/LHP, Duluth East, 2021
6-foot, 170-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player.  7.27 runner.  Athletic in box.  Open balanced stance.  Rhythm in load and strides to square.  Slightly uphill swing plane.  Loose swing.  Mid/pull approach with mainly line drive and fly ball contact.  Good contact and flashed pop and some strength in barrel.  88 mph exit velocity.  OF- Good feet and show athleticism.  Good glove and fields ball clean.  85 mph arm strength with good carry and accuracy.
