Although the rankings do not expand in this latest update, we do see movement in the Top 225 with a plethora of risers throughout. Below, we highlight five players who see a jump inside the rankings after a standout fall season. Stay tuned on Wednesday and Thursday of this week to see where these players land.
MD/DE Class of 2025 Players on the Rise
Dallas Brooks C / 1B / JOHN CARROLL SCHOOL, MD / 2025The left-handed hitting backstop has been a steady riser inside the top 25 ever since he broke into the high school ranks and sees another jump in this latest update. A standout spring/summer transferred well into the fall, as the in-game production continues to open eyes across the state. Quick, fluid hands and strength to all fields has always been a mainstay in Brooks' game, and the added barrel awareness propels the Maryland commit up the rankings in this update.

Nicholas Cicale C / 3B / Broadneck , MD / 2025Long levers, strength in the hands, and plenty of ceiling left in the frame. The ability to impact the baseball at a high rate has sky-rocketed the Army commit up the rankings in months past, as Cicale sees another jump in this update. Present power to the pull side gap, coupled with consistent awareness for the barrel bodes well for a huge breakout spring in 2025.

Peter Onuschak RHP / 1B / Sussex Central, DE / 2025A standout at the DCP Battlegrounds this Fall, the big 6-foot-2, 190-pound righty has continued to mold himself into one of the more helium arms in the class. Featuring a high spin, explosive fastball in the high 80s with the ability to spin for strikes in any count sees the Salisbury commit make a jump in this update.

Ivan Sypa LHP / Patuxent High, MD / 2025One of my favorite under-the-radar arms in this class, Sypa continues to shine in each look and certainly made an impression at the SMAC Scout Day this fall. It's a repeatable operation, working the fastball to the knees in the low 80s with feel for the spin and changeup mix. A stellar 7-0 record with 71 strikeouts this spring has only increased the southpaws stock as we enter the winter months.

Ben Powers RHP / Stephen Decatur , MD / 2025Lean strength in the 6-foot-1 frame, Powers is coming off a strong fall that led to a commitment to North Carolina Wesleyan. Featuring a mid-80s fastball, the ability to create whiffs and weak contact standout and as the feel for the breaking ball continues to increase, look for the traction to keep rolling into 2025.
