2022 Scout Day: Evolution Baseball - Quick Hits
THE BATS
- Brady Collins - Collins continues to develop at the plate. He's added some muscle in the off-season and it shows.
- Evan Cornelius - Cornelius is a big, physical kid with juice. The lower half is active and the ball jumps off his bat.
- Cameron Papetti - Papetti is athletic at the plate. The hands really work, producing a lot of loud contact.
THE ARMS
- Travis Moran - Moran has a quick arm with an easy delivery. The fastball has late run, the slider is tight and he has good action on the changeup.
- Evan Cornelius - Cornelius is a big, physical right-hander with a lot of ability. The fastball sat in the mid to upper 80's with late run. The slider has bite, to go along with a nice changeup.
- Brady Collins - Collins has a fluid, easy delivery, paired with a long clean arm-swing. The fastball has run and he showed the feel for his changeup.
- Tade Riordan - Riordan is a big, physical right-hander with a heavy mid 80's fastball. The NJIT commit also showed off a hard, sweeping breaking ball.
THE DEFENDERS
- Hunter Normandin - Normandin is a fluid, athletic middle of the diamond defender.
- Cameron Papetti - Papetti has good actions behind the plate and showed a strong arm.
- Boris Valdez - Valdez is a good looking young middle infielder. He's athletic, with soft hands and a quick arm.
