We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2021 Central Mass Fall Prospect Games. This was a great opportunity for 2023-2025 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. 2021 Central Mass Fall Prospect Games - Quick Hits
THE BATS
- Andrew Merrill - Merrill is a physical right-handed hitter. The hands really worked and showed juice the other way.
- Anthony Marino - Marino has quick hands. The bat-head whips through the zone creating carry in the middle of the field.
- Luke Beyers - Beyers is a good looking young hitter. The bat gets on plane early, showing juice to the pull side.
- Ethan DiVito - DiVito uses a simple approach at the plate to produce loud contact in the middle of the field.
THE ARMS
- Anthony Marino - Marino was impressive at today’s event. The fastball sat in the mid to upper 80’s with explosive life through the zone. He also showed a tight breaking ball and feel for a good changeup.
- Gino Renzoni - Renzoni is a wiry right-hander that showed command of the zone with a low 80’s fastball.
- Huxley Holcombe - Holcombe is a projectable left hander. The fastball sat in the low 80’s, with tilt and showed the feel for a good changeup.
THE DEFENDERS
- Andrew Merrill - Merrill is really athletic behind the plate. His feet are light, his transition is quick and showed a strong arm.
- Fletcher Waterman - Waterman showed a clean transfer, received well, with a quick arm behind the plate.
- Turner Clews - Clews showed his athleticism behind the plate. The feet are quick and displayed an accurate, strong arm.
THE RUNNERS
- Storm Dusablon - Dusablon showed some real foot-speed at today's event.
- Anthony Marino - Marino displayed athleticism on both sides of the ball today.
- Caleb Birchem - Birchem is an athletic infielder, who showed real foot-speed at today’s event.
