Building Champions Scout Day: 2021-2022 Pitchers Analysis

Prep Baseball Report Kansas/Missouri held the Building Champions Scout Day on February 22 at The Yard XL in Olathe, KS. Over sixty-five players participated in the 2022 to 2018 classes.

Player profiles have been updated with running times and velocities along with a video of their performance.

Players can now updated their profiles with a ProspectPlus subscription, while scouts and recruiters can add players on ScoutPlus.

2021-2022 Pitchers

Corbin Bassham 3B / RHP / Olathe South, KS / 2022

Bassham is a 6-foot 165-pound right handed pitcher in Kansas' 2022 class. On the mound, Bassham has a controlled delivery, throws with regular effort, lands slightly closed, slight upward tilt in shoulders, loose high three quarters arm slot, arm works, high percentage of strikes, baseball at 76-78 mph, some with downhill tilt, breaking ball has sharp and late action, 64-67 mph, showed command, change up at 68-70 mph, occasional arm side run, projection in build and arm action.

Ryan Borberg SS / RHP / Shawnee Mission Northwest, KS / 2022

Borborg is a 6-foot-2 175-pound right-handed pitcher in Kansas' 2022 class. On the mound, smooth tempo, accelerated down the mound, in line stride level shoulders, athletic finish, fastball at 75-77 mph, repeats release, breaking ball at 68-72 mph, 11-to-5 shape gradual 11-to-5 action, throws for strike, change up at 66-69 mph, throws with near fastball arm speed.

Dylan Butler RHP / Shawnee Mission Northwest, KS / 2021

Butler is a 5-foot-9 140-pound right-handed pitcher in Kansas' 2021 class.
