Due to impending rain in tomorrow's forecast, the Underclass Trials - North has been moved indoors to The MAX.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, June 8, the PBR Illinois staff will be hosting its first showcase of the summer circuit: Underclass Trials - North. This is an open event for players in high school grad classes 2023 through 2025 and will serve as an identifier to select, invite events like Underclass Games, All-State Games and 2025 Future Prospect Games.

Last year’s event featured two Class of 2022 arms who have since gone on to make Division-I commitments; RHP Ashton Izzi (Oswego East HS; Wichita State commit) and RHP David Andolina (Oak Park-River Forest; Lehigh). Izzi was ultimately chosen to participate for Team Illinois at the 2020 PBR Future Games thanks to his performance at the event. 

CHECK-IN PROCESS

In an effort to continue and develop a simplified, contactless check-in process, upon arrival, players will scan a QR Code with their smart phone camera that will lead them to a Google Form. On that Form, players will enter their name (matching the spelling on their PBR profile) and hit submit. Upon submission, players will be prompted to click a link that will direct them to their jersey color and number, located next to their registered name. From there, players will be instructed to the area where they’ll pick up their designated jersey color and number.

CHECK-IN TIMES:

• All position players: 8:45 to 9 a.m.
• Pitchers-only: 11 a.m.
• Catchers will stay for both sessions
