Quinn Sotero LHP / OF / Xavier, CT / 2024Rankings StateRank: 27 / POS: 1
Report: Sotero is a talented left-hander that has a chance to be a high velocity arm. His delivery is simple, balanced and allows his arm to work cleanly. His fastball sits in the mid 70's with late sink and shows a nice complement of secondary pitches. When he packs muscle onto his 5-foot-9 frame, he’ll start to see velocity bumps. |
Evan Menzel SS / 2B / Coventry, CT / 2024Rankings StateRank: 50 / POS: 10
Report: An easy to overlook middle infielder, Menzel isn't the biggest guy on the field but his hands really work at the plate. The left-handed hitting middle infielder works the ball line to line, with some pop to the pull side. He shows excellent balance within his swing and really whips the bat-head through the hitting zone. Defensively, Menzel is athletic with soft hands. |
Jack LaRose SS / RHP / Bishop Hendricken, RI / 2024Report: Another talented middle infielder with a great swing from the left side. LaRose has great balance, serious juice, and uses the whole field. He is also an athletic defender up the middle. He moves well laterally, with soft hands and the arm strength to make all the throws. He shows some arm talent on the mound as well. He attacks hitters with multiple arm slots and shows good secondary stuff. |
Luke Beyers C / RHP / Leicester, MA / 2024Report: His swing is balanced, athletic and the hands work. Behind the plate, his feet are light, he receives well, and has above average arm strength. Beyers also has a live arm from the mound. |
Braeden Campbell C / 3B / Independent, RI / 2024Rankings StateRank: 11 / POS: 3
Report: Campbell may be the best catcher in this very strong class. His receiving and transfer are polished for his age. He’s quiet behind the plate, his feet are athletic and his arm-strength is advanced. As good as he is behind the plate, his bat may be his best tool. Campbell shows off his quick hands, whipping the bat-head through the zone, creating power up the middle of the field. |
