We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England Scout Day: CT Rangers. This was a great opportunity for 2024-2026 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. 2023 Scout Day: CT Rangers - Quick Hits
The Players
- Cooper Benoit, 2026- Left-handed hitter, gap to gap approach, good feel off the mound, easy life, FB at 77 mph.
- Anthony M Boniello, 2025- Right-handed hitter, pop to pull side, hands work well, strength to them. The arm is fast and quick across the diamond at 81 mph, the glove is soft.
- Andrew Dossena, 2026- Right-handed hitter, showed a middle approach with pop in his hands. The exit velocity was at 90 mph.
- Ryan Hughes, 2026- A right-handed pitcher, showed extremely well, loose arm, fastball up to 77 mph, late life to all pitchers. Tons of projection.
- Josiah Saladyga, 2026- A right-handed hitting catcher, exit at 87 mph, line drives to the middle of the field. Caught well in bullpen, short arm action, pop time at 2.12.
