The Top Prospect Games were held August 3rd and 4th at Historic Cherry Creek High School. 50 prospects were on hand to take part in a pro-style showcase followed by two days of games.

Joel Anderson OF / 3B / Rocky Mountain , CO / 2021Rankings StateRank: 19 / POS: 3
Anderson has an strong build at 5-foot-9, 195 pounds, while being a right-handed hitting outfielder in the 2021 class. He ran a 7.37 60. During batting practice, upright stance, quiet load with some rhythm to his hands, in line and short stride, remains balanced throughout swing, showed contact to all fields during round. Exit velocity was 85 mph. Defensively in the outfield, attacks the baseball, momentum towards target, fluid footwork, long arm with a high three-quarter release, positional velo of 86 mph, mostly accurate throws.

Caden English LHP / OF / Broomfield, CO / 2021English has an athletic build at 5-foot-10, 185 pounds. He is a left-handed hitting outfielder and Pitcher in 2021 class. At the event he ran a 7.36 second 60 and posted an exit velocity of 85 mph. During hitting evaluations, simple load, in line stride, minimal head movement, flat bat path, gap-to-gap approach during round. In the outfield, English attacks the baseball, shows clean transfers, high three-quarter release, positional velo of 78 mph, mostly accurate throws. On the mound he stand tall with a slight drop and drive delivery. Arm hides behind his body and he delivers form a high 3/4 arm slot. Fastball was 77-79 mph with late run. He also featured a 65-67 mph curve with tight spin and late 2-7 break. Maintains good arm speed on his off-speed pitches.

Jonathan Howton OF / RHP / Windsor, CO / 2022Rankings StateRank: 30 / POS: 4
Howton has a lean at 5-10, 140 pounds. He is a right-handed hitting outfielder and pitcher in the 2022 class. He ran a 7.10 second 60. During hitting evaluations, he starts with a balanced stance, small leg lift into his load, in line stride, loose hands, controls the barrel, minimal head movement, showed a middle approach during round, posted an exit velocity of 81 mph. In the outfield, attacks the baseball, fluid footwork, clean transfers, long arm action with a high three-quarter release, positional velo of 78 mph, mostly accurate throws. On the mound he competes and forces hitters to put the ball n play. His motion is clean and loose. Arm has good whip and his fastball shows good arm side run and sat 78-80 mph. Curve sat 66-69 mph with late 11-5 break and his change was a great secondary out pitch at 70-71 mph.

Drew Lytle OF / RHP / Chatfield , CO / 2021Lytle is an athletic looking outfielder and pitcher in the 2021 class. He stands 5-foot-11 and 175-pounds, he is athletic in the outfield and uses his 7.17 60 speed to cut balls down in the gap. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a accurate ball to the bag at 83 mph. At the plate he is tall with a double toe tap on the pitch. Hands and swing are flat through the zone with an up the middle to opposite approach. Exit velocity is 87 mph. Tall and fall approach on the mound with a long over the top arm delivery. Fastball was 78-80 mph with command of both sides of the plate. Arm speed drops a bit on the breaking ball which sat 65067 mph with sweeping 11/5 shape.

Matthew Oberlander OF / RHP / Fort Collins High School, CO / 2021Oberlander is a 6-foot, 160-pound outfielder / right hand pitcher in the 2021 class who ran a 7.40 60. At plate he hits from from the left side and a slightly crouched stance with a slow load to the back side. Swing is slightly uphill is pull side power. Exit velocity was 80 mph. Shows good instincts and reactions in the outfield and fields through the ball. Long over the top delivery produces an 80 mph arm velo and an accurate ball to the bag. Tall and fall delivery on the mound with good extension out front on the pitch. Arm is over the top to high 3/4 and arm speed remains consistent on all pitches. Fastball was 74-77 mph with some late run and sink. Curveball had 11/5 shape with tight spin and sat 65-67 mph.

Antwone Suarez RHP / 3B / Wellington , CO / 2021Suarez is an athletic and physical 6-foot, 150-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder and pitcher in the 2021 class. At the event he ran a 7.73 second 60 and posted an exit velocity of 74 mph. During batting practice, he starts in an athletic stance, simple load, some rhythm with hands, flat bat path, remains balanced throughout swing, showed pop to left field during round. In the outfield, has good actions, fluid footwork, long arm with carry to the baseball, high three-quarter release, accurate throws, positional velo of 76 mph. Simple setup on the mound from the stretch position. From balance he falls t the plate and remains in-line on his delivery. Arm is over the top and loose. Fastball was an easy 77-79 mph with run. Curve flashed tight spin at 69-71 mph with 11/5 shape.

Jackson Woolwine OF / 2B / Boulder High, CO / 2021Rankings StateRank: 40 / POS: 5
Woolwine is an athletic 5-foot-9, 145-pound right hand hitting outfielder in the 2021 class. He has fast twitch muscles and recorded a 6.99 60 at this event. From the outfield he shows good instincts and anticipates well and ran down several balls in the gaps. Arm is over the top and accurate and plays at 82 mph. At the plate he stands slightly open with a big load to the backside. Weight fires through the zone and his swing is slightly uphill. Good gap to gap approach with several doubles on the weekend. Exit velocity was 89 mph.
