PARKER, CO--  On March 8, 2020, the PBR Colorado Staff held the Colorado Preseason All-State Showcase in Parker, Colorado. This invite event had wide ranging talent from 2020-2024’s.  Highlighted by D1 Commits Tony Castonguay, 2020, C (Kansas) and Radek Birkholz, 2021, RHP/SS (Notre Dame), the All-State event also had some PBR newcomers make positive impressions  With over 50+ prospects in attendance.  

Our post event coverage continues with a look at 4 impressive RHP 2023’s and surprising RHP in the 2024 class. 

+Tommy Marsh, (2023, Cherry Creek)  Tommy impressive in our earlier PBR Underclass event and did the same here.  FB 80-82, SL 68, CH 74. His strong frame demonstrated a feel for the zone. His aggressive delivery is a ¾ release.  Keep your eye on him as 2-Way player with strong evals as RHH and Exit Velo of 94. Projection of Power

+ 1B/RHP Max Stanley, (2023, Legend)  Pitchability from 2023!! Max is athletic, arm works very easy with aggression.  He pounded the zone with FB 83 and CB 65-67 CH 72. Quick arm at ¾ Release, it is easy to see his high ceiling and projections for future.

+  SS/2B Finley Bates, (2023, Legend) You may have seen Finley highlighted as Top Hitter.  As RHP, he is an athlete jumping up to the mound. Arm works great, attacks the zone and has feel for throwing strikes with FB 80, CB 69 and CH 71.  Finley will be a player at the center of team winning his entire career. Competitor and future Collegiate Captain.  

+ RHP/OF Hunter Gotschall, (2023, Calhan) Hunter is one of Colorado’s Top small school Pitcher’s at 2A Calhan.  Strong build with lots of room for growth and development. FB 81-83,SL 64-66, CH 72. Release point, ¾ , lends itself to his good SL and CH. 

+ RHP/3B Mitch Haythorn, (2024, Eaton)  A nice surprise from Mitch as a confident and comfortable 2024.  Repeatable delivery with high leg kick and attack. FB consistent at 75 and touched 77.  He located all pitches, SL was 65 with tight spin. SL has ++potential. Very Projectable.
