Longmont 25 Centaurus 4
The Trojans are keeping pace at the top of their league and in the state. They were led by Matt Zumudio who went 3-6 with 2 runs and 4 RBI.
Northridge 7 Mountain View 1
This is a big league win for Northridge and they saw Tayler Aguilar go 2-4 at the plate with 1 RBI to lead the way.
Air Academy 14 Discovery Canyon 9
The Kadets win this CS Metro League game and saw Bo Powers lead the way with a 1-4 day with 1 run and 4 RBI.
Evergreen 3 Golden 1
The Cougars get a shut down performance from Ben Muscatello going 7 innings, allowing 5 hits, 1 run and striking out 4.
Wheat Ridge 6 D’Evelyn 1
The Farmers seem to be peaking late in the season and were led by Aaron Arcilise who went all 7 innings on the mound scattering 6 hits, giving up 1 run and striking out 9.
Chatfield 9 Ralston Valley 7
This was a tight ball game that saw the Chargers come out on top. Luke LaChance was 2-4 on the day with 1 run and 2 RBI and Griffin Moss added a 1-4 day with 2 runs and 2 RBI for the Chargers.
Pine Creek 16 Liberty 0
The Eagles keep on winning and marching towards May. Parker Gregory had a monster day for Pine Creek going 3-3 at the plate with 2 runs and 3 RBI. Justin Olson added a 1-2 day with 3 runs, 2 RBI and 1 triple.
Columbine 6 Lakewood 0
The Rebels with the shut our league win. Luke Folsom went 4.1 innings allowing 0 hits, 0 runs and struck out 6. Jacob Gimbel came on to record 2.2 innings with 1 hit and 4 K’s for the Rebels.
Pomona 14 Bear Creek 11
This was a classic Jeffco slugfest that saw the Panthers come out on top. Brock Bernall went 2-3 at the plate with 1 run, 2 RBI, 1 double and 1 homerun.
Grandview 2 Brighton 1
Amari Smith (2019) got the game winning hit for the Wolves on Monday in the bottom of the 7th, and was 2 for 4 on the day. Luke Laflam (2018) pitched a very strong 4 innings, allowing just 1 hit to go along with 9 strike outs.
Chaparral 6 Rock Canyon 3
Chaparral scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 2nd and added 3 more runs to defeat Rock Canyon in a very important league game. Chaparral pitcher Preston Tenney (2019) did a good job on the mound going 6 innings, allowing just 3 runs, and striking out 4 hitters. Offensively for Chaparral, Luke Bailey (2018) had a good day at the plate going 2 for 3, scoring 2 runs, and driving in 1.
Cherokee Trail 9 Arapahoe 2
Cherokee Trail came out swinging putting up a 2 spot in the top of the 1st inning, added another 3 in the 3rd and then topped it off with 4 in the 6th to win this important league game. Arapahoe’s Brandon Dryer (2018) had a good day hitting a yard ball and driving in 2 runs.
Heritage 4 Regis 0
Heritage scored 2 in the bottom of the 2nd and then another 2 in the bottom of the 4th and that was all they need to beat Regis, because Heritage pitcher Riley Egloff (2018) was dealing. Riley threw a complete game giving up just 4 hits to go along with 9 strike outs.
Eaglecrest 4 Smoky Hill 2
Leading the game 4 to 0 going into the top of the 6th inning, Smoky Hill finally put a little scare into the Raptor by scoring 2 in the inning, but that was all they could come up with. Eaglecrest was led by, pitcher James Cave (2019) who went 5.2 innings allowing just 1 earned run.
Ponderosa 4 ThunderRidge 3
Leading the game 3 to 2 going into the bottom of the 6th Thunderridge imploded and allowed the 2 winning runs to score. The Grizzlies Luke Polson (2018) had a good day at the plate going 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s. For Ponderosa, Mason Hammond (2018) was 2 for 3 with an RBI.
Douglas County 12 Legend 8
Douglas County, led by Brock Johnson (2018) who was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI’s and AJ Osborn (2018) when went yard, was 2 for 3 with 3 RBI’s, helped Douglas County defeat Legend in a key league game on Monday.
Highlands Ranch 3 Castle View 0
Highlands Ranch pitcher Josh Thompson (2018) did an awesome job on Monday, allowing just 3 hits in 5 innings of work to go along with 7 strike outs in beating Castle View.
