On Feb. 20, the PBR COLORADO team hosted the Colorado Underclass Invitational at the Marucci Clubhouse in Castle Rock, CO. The event featured 75+ uncommitted underclassmen from all 4 corners of this great state. Our staff collaborated to highlight the biggest takeaways and highlights from Saturday's event. Today, our coverage continues with a breakdown of Top Hitters and Performances in the 2024 Class
Cade Collins, SS/2B, Dakota Ridge Thin developing frame. LHH with smooth line drive path through ball. GREAT BP round with consistent line drives Strength not there, Yet. Room for growth. Good skill set as INF.
Matt Hansen, SS/2B, Air Academy, LHH with explosive quick and strong hands. Intentional lift in swing with some length. Consistent Barrel contact produced Exit Velo 95.53. Arm Velo 87. Impressive athlete. Lots of Tools Top 2024 Follow
Athan Kroll, RHP/OF. Valor Christian Long levers thin frame. Some length, with line drive path. Exit Velo 88.52, athletic movements. Arm Velo 84. Great potential as strength and skill set develop
Brady Snow, RHP/1B, Chatfield Big Strong frame with long levers. Produced one of TOP BP rounds in the 2024 class and TOP Exit Velo at 96.62 Good Balance and path. Used all fields well. Room for growth and refinement. TOP Follow
Logan Madden, SS/2B, Ralston Valley Developing athlete. Consistent Barrel BP Round(Trackman Line Drive 69.2%). Great path through ball. Open stance with toe tap for timing. Showed strong defensive skills. Overall athleticism!
Dane Most, 3B/SS, Broomfield Short compact swing with short finish. Tendency to pull side. Attacking swing produced great BP round in event. Has strength now, Exit velo 89.75. Home to 1st =4.19 Quick twitch athlete to watch develop
