The 2015 Mayflower Eagles took home the 3A State Title by defeating Fordyce HS 6-1 in the finals. This Championship was the first ever for Mayflower baseball, a title most people knew would come eventually under the tutelage of Head Coach Joe Albritton who has had the Eagles on the cusp the last few years. Fordyce was the team that derailed them in 2013, and 2014.

This year the Eagles took advantage of great pitching performance from 2015 Tyler Godwin who punched out 10 and only allowed 4 hits.  Godwin didn’t need much run support but received two big innings where Mayflower scored 3 in the 3^rd and the 6^th.
