Diamond Notes 3/12-3/17

Each Week we will be making mention of other great individual performances throughout the week. These mentions are those that didn't make the Player of the week but were deserving of mention for their great performances. 

+ Hector 2019 LHP Cody Day throws a no hitter against Conway St Joseph. Day posted 7 innings, 0 runs, and 7 strikeouts.

+Watson Chapel duo uncommitted 2018 Jakobi Jackson and Ole Miss commit Kaleb Hill had another good week. Jakobi threw 3 innings allowing 0 runs and 5 strikeouts to go along with a 3-6 batting average with 2 doubles and 3 RBI.  Kaleb Hill went 4 innings with 0 ER 2 hits along with 8 K’s.

+Horatio had two hitters that had good weeks. 2020 OF Garet Wilson was 6 for 12 with 2 doubles and 6 RBI. 2018 OF Taylor Chavez was 5-8 with 3 doubles and 6 RBI and 6 walks.

+Woodlawns 2018 OF Trey Scallion was 5-8 on the week with 2 Homeruns including a grand slam. He also had 2 doubles and 9 RBI’s.

+Woodlawn’s 2018 and Arkansas State commit, Will Richardson went 1-0 beating Arkadelphia going 6 innings allowing 3 hits 1 ER along with 9 strikeouts and 1 walk.

+Bryant’s uncommitted 2019 MIF Logan Chambers had an impressive week going 5-11 with a double and a homerun. He tallied 7 RBI in a single game in a win against Northside.

+LRCA uncommitted 2018 Rhp Jacob Wagner threw a complete game allowing 1 run over 7 innings scattering 7 hits walking 3 and striking out 7 in a 5-1 victory over Pulaski Academy.

+Nashville uncommitted 2018 Tyler Hanson went 5-5 with 4 doubles and 5 RBI’s along with pitching 6 shutout innings scattering 2 hits and striking out 9 in a win over Genoa Central
