Defensively

2016 MIF Cooper King, Harrison HS
King is a 5-foot-8 180-pound middle infielder who ran a 6.90 in the 60. He showed soft hands and fluid footwork as he played through the baseball. He has a quick exchange and an accurate arm. His action stood out against the other players in his round of infield and outfield play.

2017 MIF Tajih Bishop, Ashdown HS
Bishop is a 6-foot 160-pound middle infielder with an athletic frame and thin build. He flashed good hands and raw athleticism during the defensive portion of the event. He plays through the ball, with smooth foot work and an elongated exchange. He makes up for the exchange with a strong accurate arm.

2016 OF Darien Burns, Hamburg HS
Burns is a 5-foot-10 180-pound outfielder with a medium frame and a physical build. He worked through the baseball with a smooth exchange with a strong accurate arm. He ran a 7.12 in the 60. He shows good instincts making plays on balls in the gap.

Pitchers

2016 LHP Brandon Matros, Arkadelphia HS
Matros is a 6-foot 195-pound LHP with a large frame and a medium build. He pitched an efficient inning pounding the strike zone with a fastball working 83-86 mph with some run. He compliments his fastball with a 1/7 curveball with late break 71-73 mph. He repeated his mechanics consistently with a quick arm from an H ¾ arm slot.

2017 RHP Austin Kelly, Bryant HS
Kelly is a 6-foot-1 190-pound RHP with a large frame and a physical build. He worked two innings with impressive stuff. His fastball set 86-89 mph with late life through the strike zone. He threw a slider 78-80 mph with erratic break but at times was sharp with late 10/4 action. Overall a big arm with some upside, as he matures and cleans up some timing issues he will throw harder and strikes on a consistent basis

2016 RHP Angus Denton, Beebe HS
Denton is a 6-foot 170-pound RHP with a medium frame and an athletic build. He worked a quick inning on Monday striking out 1 and inducing 2 weak ground balls. He did this by commanding his fastball 81-84 mph with late sink. He mixed in a Frisbee breaking ball thrown at 73-76 mph. Denton has a quick arm from a side arm, arm slot. He repeats his delivery and rhythm on a consistent basis.
