Arkansas Insider: Unsigned Seniors

This week’s Arkansas insider features 5 seniors that are uncommitted, and have productive summers. Below is our scouting report on this versatile group of players.
Mackenzie Seats MIF, Sylvan Hills HS
Seats is a 5-foot-9 145-pound switch hitting middle infielder with a medium frame and an athletic build. He strength is his defensive as he plays through the baseball with fluid footwork, soft hands and a quick exchange. He throws the ball___ mph across the infield with accuracy. Offensively he has short line drive swing that, allows him to hit the ball to all fields. He is more advanced from the right-side but shows a solid swing and bat control from the left-side. He runs a __ in the 60. Overall Seats is a good defender with a solid offensive game, his main weakness is just physical strength as he matures that should improve.
Erick Aguirre, C Lakeside HS
Aguirre is a 5-foot-11 165-pound catcher with a medium frame and an athletic build. He showed a quick exchange and an accurate throwing pop times of 2.02, 2.03 and 2.06. Defensively he receives from an athletic stance and receives the ball deep with proper arm angles. Offensively he produced exit velocities up to 84 mph with a slight uphill bat path and a swing that had some length. He ran a 7.28 in the 60. Overall Aguire is a solid catcher that would benefit from adding strength as this happens all phases of his game will improve.
Kieandre Purifoy,C Smackover HS
Purifoy is a 5-foot-10 190-pound catcher with a medium frame and a jacked build. A physically gifted player with raw skills. He threw a 2.00-2.21 pop times during the pro-style work out. He has an elongated exchange if he could clean that up his pop times would be sub 2.0. Offensively he is raw but attacks the baseball aggressive, he tends to spin off balls being overly aggressive. He produces 88 mph exit velocities and drove the ball well to the pull side gap during batting practice. Overall Purifoy has huge upside with an unrefined skill set, as he continues to learn and develop he could turn into a very good collegiate player.
Brandon Hall, CIF, Lakeside HS
Hall is a 6-foot-1 200-pound corner-infielder with a large frame and an average build. Offensively he has an advanced feel for the barrel. He squares balls up on a consistent basis with a slight uphill swing. He produces of exit speeds up to 85 mph. He would benefit from using his lower half on a more consistent basis. Defensively he plays through the baseball with average actions, he has a fluid exchange and an accurate arm. He runs a 7.38 in the 60. Overall Hall is a strong player with a feel to hit, with some a few tweaks he should be ready to hit at the college level.
Brandon Hawkins, LHP, Jacksonville HS
Hawkins is a 6-foot-3 170-pound left-hander with a large frame and a thin build. He pitches from a H ¾ arm slot with a slight hitch in his arm action. He commands the strike zone with a fastball of 80-83 mph on both sides of the plate with slight sink. He throws a 1/7 curveball with gradual break as his secondary pitch. He maintains fastball arm speed and commands the curveball. He has repeatable mechanics and rhythm. His uses a tall and fall balance point and get very little out of his lower half. Overall Hawkins is a projectable left hander with a feel for the strike zone.
