All State Games: Instant Resluts

The 2016 All State Games had a variety of results on Saturday in the 6 games that were played. We saw anything from an offensive blow out at 11-0 to a pitchers dual at 1-0. All the performances lead to an action packed Sunday with the schedule below.

9:00 AM Team White vs Team Maroon Batting Practice: Game 10:00 AM

11:00 AM Team Grey vs Team Graphite Batting Practice: Game 12:30 PM

1:00 PM Team Black vs Team Red Batting Practice: Game 3:00 PM

A recap of Saturday’s games are as following

Team Graphite came from behind to defeat Team Maroon, taking advantage of Team Maroons mistakes late in the ball game.

Team Grey defeated Team White 1-0 in a hard fought pitchers dual, with both teams competing defensively at a high level.

Team Black defeated team Maroon 3-2 in walk off fashion when 2019 C Cason Tollett hit a bases loaded single to drive home 2 runs. The game was a hard fought contest with sound pitching and defense.

Team Red imposed their will on team white defeating them 11-0. It was a complete game by a talented unit.

Team Black continued their clutch performance scoring 2 runs in the top of the 7^th to defeat team Graphite 7-5. They received a tough performance from 2017 RHP Chase Hutson who limited Team Graphite to 1 unearned run.

Team Red cruised to victory after a 4 run second inning to defeat team Grey and advance to the championship.
