York Yankees in the 40th round.

2016 Super 60 - Florida recruit. 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame, lean and loose body with plenty of room for continued physical development. Athletic right-handed pitcher, high-ceiling prospect. Highly athletic arm action, quick and loose, slot somewhere between 3/4 and high-3/4. Athletic delivery, shows rhythm and tempo, repeats well. Fastball shows plus life, topped at 92 mph, sitting 90-91, with late, hard arm-side run. Slider shows plus potential, throws pitch with conviction, 78-79 mph, more lateral action. Also throws curveball at similar speed, 77-79 mph, flashed erratic depth and shape. Changeup is promising offering, thrown aggressively at 77-80 mph, with arm-side sink.  Shows feel for all four pitches.
7/12/15 - 2016 draft follow, committed to Florida. Wiry frame, lean and loose athlete, 6-foot-2, 185-pounds. Delivery shows some effort, head snap, heel to toe landing, works with tempo. Arm action is quick, and loose, high ¾ slot, athletic arm. Fastball topped at 91 mph in the first inning, sitting 89-90 mph, settled in at 86-88 for the game with arm side action. Showed feel of four pitches. Throws slider with conviction, 80-81 mph, lateral action. Curveball shows more depth, 74-77 mph, able to throw to both left and right handers. Changeup used primarily to leftys , showed feel and fade at 78 mph with fastball arm action.

5/6/15 - 6-foot-2, 185-pound, right-handed pitcher with a strong, athletic frame. Florida Commit. Currently ranked No. 3 in the Wisconsin Class of 2016, No. 37 in the PBR Overall ranks. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm slot with a quick clean arm action. Good, tempo and balance throughout delivery. Slight crossfire in delivery with a closed landing. Against Indian Trail sat 88-91 mph in the first inning with his fastball. Occasional armside run on fastball Showed the ability to command fastball down gloveside as well elevate with two strikes. Curveball showed big depth with 10-4 and some sweeping action. Buckled some hitters with CB that sat 76-77 mph. Showed a changeup at 80 mph with some armside run. Efficient outing working 7 innings allowing just 4 hits, a walk, while striking out 10. 

3/15/15- Florida commit. High level 2016 prospect, possible draft follow in 2016. 6-foot-2, 185-pound two-way prospect, lean athletic frame, projects best on the mound. Delivery is clean and athletic, shows the ability to repeat and pound the zone. Loose, athletic arm action, quick arm, high ¾ slot. Fastball has hard late, arm side run, very active in the hitting zone, sat 89-92 mph. Showed feel for two breaking balls. Slider is the better of the two, more swing and miss type pitch, occasional left arm side but showed biting action on 10/4 sweeping plane, 75-79 mph. Curveball has more depth, 11/5, occasionally backed up, 72-75 mph, shows ability to land for strikes, good change of pace, 72-75 mph. Changeup flashed plus action, 77-80 mph, arm side run, also shows swing and miss potential. Showed athleticism as a two-way player, 7.02 runner, obviously has arm strength, 89 across the diamond. Hands work well, moves well, solid infield defender. Offensively showed bat speed and loose athletic hands, hard contact, barrel aware. Good bat speed, 89 mph exit velocity from the tee.
10/6/14 - Verbally committed to the University of Florida.
3/16/14 - Long lean athletic build, 6-foot-2, 175-pound high level two-way prospect. Free and easy delivery, athletic and stays directional, repeats delivery. Arm action is loose, highly athletic, quick arm action, high ¾ slot. Shows the ability to command his fastball with arm side run, 83-85 mph, touched 87 mph. Changeup is an advanced pitch, fastball arm action, has sink, 72-75 mph, excellent action and feel. Curveball has 11/5 shape, 69-70 mph, showed the ability to throw for strikes. Slider has flatter action, 72-74 mph. Offensively hits from a slightly open stance, short stride, lower half works, strong balance through finish. Bat path is short, get good extension, line drive gap to gap guy, long high finish. Hands are loose and shows barrel awareness, quietly has gap pop. Best exit velocity at the event, 98 mph from the tee. Defensively shows the ability to play the infield at a high level, soft hands, fluid footwork, plays through the baseball, can get rid of the baseball quickly. Excellent body control and athletic arm action. Arm plays at 75 mph across the diamond with carry. Brown is a high level two-way prospect, a rare athlete that shows feel for the mound and the bat.

10/19/13 - Lanky frame, projectable build, 6-foot-2, 175-pound two-way player. On the mound shows high level projectability. Tall and fall delivery, regular effort, athletic delivery, good direction, stays online. Arm action is long and loose, free and easy arm, high ¾ arm slot. Fastball showed excellent run, slight sink, showed command of the zone, 82-83 mph. Slider showed short quick biting action, 70-73 mph, 10/4 plane, showed the ability to command it, advanced pitch. Changeup showed advanced action, plus potential pitch, advanced fading action to his arm side, showed excellent feel, 72-74 mph. Curveball worked on 11/5 plane, 68-71 mph. Defensively played through the ball well on the infield, soft hands with clean transfer. Arm played well at 77 mph across the diamond, loose arm action with carry and accuracy. Offensively hits from a wide, open stance, short stride. Great path to the baseball, short path with extension, gap to gap hitter. Excellent bat speed, 86 mph exit velocity, athletic finish with strong balance.
