C/INF William Sargent (Nicolet, 2028) stands 5-foot-11, 165 pounds with a projectable frame that should add more mass and strength. The freshman hits with a flat and inside path with the ability to back spin balls to all fields. His 89.4 mph max exit velocity is an impressive number and was the top mark among his freshman counterparts at the event. Behind the plate, Sargent showcased soft hands when receiving during bullpen work and turned around the ball with a 2.12 pop time during the defensive portion of the event.
