6-foot, 185-pound LHP Tyler Wille (Kettle Moraine, 2024; Davidson commit) turned in an impressive scoreless start Sunday. Wille was very efficient throughout his outing and got better as the game went on. Mainly working in the upper 80’s (T89 mph multiple times) Wille’s fastball played with arm-side run, and had a feel for the whole strike zone. He mixed in a short breaking ball as a show-pitch when needed, but used his changeup that had fading actions as his out-pitch throughout the start playing in the mid 70’s. Wille turned in a final line of: 4 IP, 4 H, 0 R, and 3 K.
Wille made a loud statement in his ‘pen on saturday, jumping roughly six mph since our last look. The 6-foot, 180-pound strong-bodied southpaw worked his fastball up to 90 mph with all sorts of late sink and horizontal run through the zone, also never dipping below 88 mph. His changeup plays effectively off his fastball, coming out of the hand from a similar window and playing with similar fade/run, 78-80 mph. His final offering was a 1/7 curveball with depth that he was able to keep mostly down 73-75 mph. Currently ranked No. 84 in the state, it is safe to say that Wille’s performance was one of the more eye-opening showings on the day.

Hit: RHH. Stock set up with relaxed hands. Bat and hand speed with loft to path, very strong hands, drives the ball with loft to both gaps.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 87.4 mph. 332’ max distance.
Arm: LH. OF - 91 mph. Long, loose, low 3/4 slot.
Defense: One-hand gather out front, works in-line to home plate.
Run: 7.11 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Medium leg lift tuck, coiled into balance, drop/drive delivery, toe opens at footstrike.
Arm Action: LH. Extra loose free and easy with quick arm, 3/4 slot, repeats.
FB: T90, 88-90 mph. Plays with arm-side run. T2337, 2223 average rpm.
CB: 74-75 mph. 1/7, sharp action. T2269, 2218 average rpm.
CH: 78-80 mph. Maintains arm speed, deceleration, fade to arm-side. T1681, 1662 average rpm.
Wille is built at an athletic and strong, 5-foot-11, 185-pounds and is an intriguing southpaw in Wisconsin’s junior class. In our looks, Wille has ran his fastball up to 84 mph but what is special about this offering is nearly 21 inches of horizontal movement on it, making it a tough pitch to barrel up. As for his offspeeds, a changeup and curveball, they are still developing but they do flash potential. Nonetheless, Wille’s profile and athleticism make him a name to follow as he continues his high school career.

Wille is an athletic and strong 5-foot-11, 185-pound prospect in Wisconsin. While still harnessing his live arsenal, Wille’s fastball is highly aggressive, featuring huge arm-side movement (20.5 inches on average), sitting 81-84 mph. He’s still developing his offspeed, a changeup and a curve, but each has flashed potential, just inconsistently for the time being. But Wille has some must-follow metrics attached to a noteworthy mix, and he’s a quality athlete, too.
