Premium athlete, 6-foot, 145-pound lanky frame, high ceiling frame with long levers. Made a huge impression in front of our staff at the 15U at The Rock event and he maintained that momentum this past weekend. Ranges very well in the center field, gracefully takes instinctive routes to baseballs and covers tracks with ease using his long legs and big speed. Loose right-handed bat with barrel awareness, though is still growing into an ability to strike the ball with more authority, especially to his pull-side.

Premium athlete, 6-foot, 145-pound lanky frame, high ceiling frame with long levers. Also a high level track and field athlete. Moves easy in the outfield and around the bases, light footed gliding runner, 4.44 down the line. Right-handed hitter, taller, easy setup in the box. Path is short with loose hands, tends to stay on top of the baseball, line drive swing.

RHP Nathan Cumberbatch helped lead PTA cardinal 14U to a 2-0 start by pitching 5 innings of 3 hit ball by striking out 8 and giving up 1 run, en route to a 9-1 victory over PBA 14U. RHP Cumberbatch is a tall, long framed RHP, worked 71-73 mph on his fastball, topping out at 74 mph. Looks to add velocity as he adds to his frame. His fastball played harder than his velo shows as it presented hard late life, consistently producing late, soft contact. His curveball 12/6 shape was consistently at 60 mph. Cumberbatch is a quick worker, with a fluid, athletic rhythm.
