Sopha is another prospect with an intriguing upside. At 6-foot-4, 195-pounds, Sopha showed a clean and quick arm that sat 83-85 mph, touching 86 mph. He uses two breaking balls, of which the curveball showed more use and feel at 70-72 mph and showing spin rates north of 2200 rpm.
During the final day of our PBR Badger State Battle, Sopha came out of the pen for Brew State and impressed with a loose/quick arm and easy velocity. His fastball worked 81-85 mph touching 86 mph; paired with a sharp 11/5 breaking ball in the 68-73 mph range. The extremely projectable and long-limbed Sopha looks to have plenty more in the tank.
