Luke Nowak (Menomonee Falls, 2021) looks to have gained some muscle to his 5-foot-11 frame, which has allowed him to spray harder-hit contact all over the diamond with greater authority. Nowak has long been a 'sleeper' in the state's 2021 class for his tremendous foot speed to directly translates to both the basepaths and center field. He's a quiet and confident ballplayer who expertly sets the table from the top of the lineup. As a left-handed hitter, we saw first-hand this weekend just how calm and cool he is in the batter's box facing pitcher's counts. He fends off tough pitches awaiting the one he can steer the other way for a base hit, where he knows he can snag a stolen base shortly thereafter. He also gains a ton of ground out in center field and takes direct and aggressive routes. Nowak's arrow is up headed into the end of the summer.
